We provide lightweight plugins for WordPress and Joomla that automatically trigger a check whenever the core CMS, an extension, plugin, or theme is installed or updated. Configuration is simple, you only need a site ID (available on the site details page) and an API token.

Setup is a breeze. Once the plugin is activated, every change is instantly checked, giving you peace of mind that your site stays healthy.

Wordpress

Follow the next steps to install the plugin into your Wordpress site:

  • Download the Wordpress plugin from the following link: Wordpress Plugin
  • Login to the admin page on your Wordpress site.
  • Open the site Plugins -> Add Plugin.
  • Click on "Upload Plugin" on the top.
  • Select the downloaded plugin by clicking on "Browse".
  • Click on the "Install Now" button.
  • Click on the "Activate" button.
  • Go to Settings -> is-it.io Update plugin.
  • Copy the site ID and API token from app.is-it.io to the plugin.
  • Save the settings.

Joomla

Follow the next steps to install the plugin into your Joomla 3 or higher site:

  • Download the Joomla plugin from the following link: Joomla 3, 4, 5 Plugin
  • Login to the admin page on your Joomla site.
  • Go to System -> Install -> Extensions.
  • Drag the file into the page or select it with the file upload field.
  • Go to System -> Plugins and search for "is-it.io".
  • Click on the plugin in the list.
  • Copy the site ID and API token from app.is-it.io to the plugin.
  • Set the status to "Enabled".
  • Save the settings.
